Invent yourself.
Define the ways you can circle the yard,
Circle the trees, go around the world.
Put yourself in a place where perhaps
Only butterflies can land.
Put yourself there now, far away from here.
Witness yourself flying.
Feel the breeze flowing through your hair.
The wind bringing tears to your eyes.
Let them flow.
You have truly departed from the
ordinary world.
You can see above all of them and underneath
Their shirts and behind their sunglasses and
Well composed smiles.
You can see clear
Through them to the other side.
Happy that you departed.

The RedDog Journal was an early experiment in digital communications.

It was originally desined to be a one-page broadsheet, to be delivered via fax and BBS system. In 1994, the RedDog Journal was first available on the Internet via a gopher server located at Internet Direct in Phoenix, Az. As the Web emerged as an option, the Journal was published as simultaneously as a web site, and in a print version. The print version was distributed for free through coffee shops and art spaces in Phoenix and surrounding communities. The contents included here span a period from 1995 - 1997. The Journal ceased publishing in 1998.
